Czech motorway vignette fees
The fee for the Czech motorway vignette has changed. The time-based fee is set by a statutory formula that reflects inflation and the year-on-year change in the length of the motorway network in operation. Compared with earlier fees, the fee for all types of Czech vignette has risen slightly.
For petrol, diesel or LPG vehicles, the time-based fee for the Czech motorway vignette is 230 Kč for one day, 300 Kč for ten days and 480 Kč for thirty days, and the fee for the annual Czech vignette is 2 570 Kč. Vehicles powered solely by electricity or hydrogen are exempt from the fee under specified conditions.
Vignette types in Czechia
Czechia offers four types of electronic vignette. For regular motorway use we recommend the annual vignette. For shorter periods there are 30-day and 10-day vignettes, and since 2024 a 1-day vignette for a single transit.
Before you travel
Before you travel, check that you carry your driving licence, vehicle registration certificate and proof of motor liability insurance (e.g. a Green Card), and that the vehicle has the mandatory equipment. Without run-flat tyres, a repair kit or roadside assistance, a spare wheel is mandatory.
